Call sound problem


Hi, just reposting what I posted over in XDA, didnt realise this forum was available

Just updated to 14.11.4

I have the issue carried from CM11 nightlies ... the first call I make works properly, both me and the person on the other end of the line can hear each other ... but for all calls after the first call I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me.

I have had this problem with all the recent CM11 nightlies, and found the only way to have stable calls is to use CM11 Snapshot M11

Not sure there is anything you can do about this due to it being a CM11 problem, and I'm not sure it affects all phones (although I have googled it and found it to be a common problem), but wanted to bring it to your attention.

I found that solution in a forum and i tested it to my phone and it is working fine till now! you can try it and i hope this fixes the problem for you too!

Solution for call sound problem in CM and CM based ROMs after October,6:
1. download the file below
2. Extract it.
3. move it to system/lib/hw and replace.
4. reboot.

It doesn't work for me. When replace that fIle I don't even get the first working call, I just get silence on every call

For now, I've rolled back to the previous ROM version, which is no problem as it's super stable and a great daily driver

guys, please upgrade to lollipop. and please use geehrc device tree. any plan to upgrade this device?
